cabinet

dark wood cabinet, been using it as a bedstand. a little bit of peeling of the finish (polyurethane?) on top. wouldn't be hard to sand and redo.

particularly heavy.

wooden folding chairs

four wooden folding chairs. two sets of two, though they're all nearly the same. they wiggle a bit, but have never collapsed.

minor wear.

$10 each

hutch

very tall hutch (80"x30"x15"). the eye-level section opens to make what I can only assume was meant to be a liquor cabinet. after losing the key there was no way to keep the pull-down shelf from hitting me in the head so I installed the functional but less aesthetically pleasing string and hook system.

the drawer works. two sections have no back. the lower section has a back.

the hutch is very heavy. be prepared with at the very least two strong people.

asking $25

media cart

made of wood. rolls smoothly. with one shelf that can be moved up or down. open back.

17" deep x 20" wide x 20" high + 2" for wheels

asking $25

white furniture set

remember that furniture you got as a kid with the white laminate? here it is.

1. three large drawers in a plain cabinet. asking $25

2. desk with four drawers. asking $25

3. chair with cushioned seat, some minor wear shows in the seat. asking $10.

all are in good shape, with no significant scratches. all drawers open and close easily.

buy the desk and drawers and the chair is free.

tv

28 inch tube television. big and heavy. screen has no faults. remote is ergonomic.

Note: see picture of back. coax (standard) cable has been yanked out and would be difficult to fix. has s-video input, red/white/yellow input (both front and back) and white/red output (to stereo to get big sound, though the sound is fine). other than the coax, they all work. we use it with our dvd player (red/white/yellow) and computer (s-video) without problem.

asking $25

bed

queen sized bed. comes with box spring, mattress, and basic metal frame on wheels. used daily for five years, but no abuse: no stains, tears, bed bugs, fleas, pets, smokers, children. always had mattress pad on it.

no picture, but you'd only be looking at our sheets anyway. it looks like every other queen sized bed.

asking $100

futon

standard full sized futon. wooden sides and metal back. comes with mattress and two covers: the tan one shown and a dark blue velour one. opens and closes easily. no stains or tears or smells.

asking $100

file cabinet

cabinet with two drawers, each holding two rows of hanging files. made of particle board covered in wood-pattern plastic veneer. holds a lot of files. comes with standard hanging files.

20" D x 28" H x 29" L

very heavy. be prepared with at least two strong people.

asking $50

table

art deco (?) table. top has grey pattern. legs remove for easier transport. has two leaves that match the pattern.

30" H x 36" x 48" plus 12" each leaf, so up to 6' long.

asking $60

couches

great big maroon L of couches, in three sections. total size for L is 7.5 feet by 9 feet. you could arrange it in other ways, but this is the way it's meant to be.

has been used very gently and carefully for many years. no stains, tears or smells.

asking $300

Big Garage Sale

We're moving away and selling virtually all our furniture, plus lots of little stuff. Mark your calendar for Saturday June 28th and come early. Everything must go, so we'll price everything low and be ready to bargain from the beginning, and even more ready to bargain as the day progresses. We need to have it all gone before we go to sleep.
